One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Authentic Thai food. Breaded squid is the best I've ever eaten. In addition, meat dumplings and pad thai can be addictive. I highly recommend it. An additional advantage is the friendly service.
I live in London and have come twice to Thaiger because I sometimes come to the area for work. First, the food is unbelievable! This quality of homemade Thai food is very uncommon in England (and specially in London) so having this in here is a privilege. And for the price they offer it! Soooooo worth it! Second, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive! I felt like I was spoiled with the level of care and friendliness from the waiters. And third, the place is very cosy! I was with a colleague and they placed us next to the fireplace. I love rustic environments and sitting on a restaurant with nice food and charming people it just rounds up to an amazing evening. Anyone who lives nearby or anyone who is visiting: YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT!
4 Star overall (take away only - but setting seemed comfortable). Fortunately the food (Thai green curry and Pad Thai tasted great but lacked some basic ingredients I would expect.. Was disappointed to find courgettes instead of pak choir, Asian aubergine or even some mangetout or green beans... Looking forward to the next opportunity to see if the kitchen has taken note. Would be interested to know if there are any Thai cooks involved?

Love this place. Staff are amazing / great sense of humour / good with sarcasm. Can never fault the food. Come here every time we go sailing at the Hamble Marina. Best spring rolls I’ve ever tasted!!!
